On 28th Feb I ordered a Spring Planter to send to my 80 year old Mother on the sad occasion of the first year's anniversary of my Dad's death which is today (4th March) I was perturbed to hear that the planter had not arrived by 18.25. After following instruction on the website to 'follow my order' the site informed me the flowers had not yet been been delivered, a fact which was clearly obvious. I then endured a further 20 minutes being put on hold before being put through to the extremely nonchalant & dismissive advisor . I patiently explained that in my view the delivery was now too late as the day of the anniversary of my Dad's death was almost over & my Mum, as an elderly lady in poor health, would not appreciate a ring on the doorbell during darkness. He showed no sensitivity whatsoever, he completely lacked empathy & understanding. I clearly was a complete inconvenience as a paying customer. I then requested to speak to a supervisor who was only slightly more helpful than him (but not much) & she explained very curtly that Interflora's delivery times were until 7pm.
I will certainly NEVER be using Interflora again.
