Placed an international order for friend who had been bereaved. Delivery date 29 April. By 1 May, as they hadnt arrived, I phoned the un'help-line and told, yes they were delivered. However they undertook to double check and ring me back - didnt get called back. Called again 4th May, they insisted the flowers were delivered, but once again said they wld investigate & call back - they didnt call back. Phoned again 5 May, assured they were delivered, and yes you guessed it - they said they wld call me back - and ..... they didnt call back! Appalling service. Emailed 7 May - and recieved a condescending call following day, assuring me they WERE delivered, and they WERE del'd on the date specified, and they WERE signed for by the recipient. Well - had you bothered to check you would have noticed none of those things happened. After persisting Interflora finally admitted they hadnt processed the order at all - All that run around and stress and I am back where i started - wish i had read these reviews beforehand. Thought Interflora was an old reputable company - never again. But happy ending folks, i did it the old fashioned way by phoning florist in the local town and they sent a really nice bouquet for a lot less money - wont hesitate to do it that way again - so i would like to extend my thanks to the useless interflora helpline team - they have tought me that there is a much more reliable and cheaper way to deliver flowers internationally in future.
