I had purchased a bouquet after seeing an offer in a newspaper article. The flowers with specific delivery in time for Mother's Day should have been just over £50 but with the discount offer i found the prices reasonable, particularly because I couldn't hand deliver them myself. I received all tracking emails and texts and found communication excellent. The flowers arrived as stated, well in time. I was excited to see the item later that evening. “Mother's Day flowers”

I recteved a bouquet of flowers for Mother's Day, They arrived in a very poor condition . The carnations were already turning brown around the edges and the roses were very poor quality and never came out and were limp after 2 days. “Steer well clear! This service is a joke!”

My advice is to stay well away from Debenhams Flowers. I ordered a bouquet to be delivered on Mother's Day. They did not arrive and could not be traced. I spent almost the whole day on the phone and it took 6 hours for the manager to call back. Eventually she agreed to upgrade the flowers and deliver the following Sunday. “Failed delivery and lack of response”

Ordered flowers for mothers day which they delivered 2 days late. No response to email or contact form and left on hold on phone for 20 mins twice. Eventually got through and just got an apology. Finally agreed to refund flowers but no compensation for wasted time, lack of tracking email, lack of response to emails. Very poor service and certainly won't use again… Read Full Review

“Mother's Day Shambles”

Ordered, several days in advance, for flowers to be delivered on the Saturday before Mother's Day to my mum. Got an email on the Friday to say they were despatched. No flowers arrived. They arrived the Monday afterwards and half of them were dead. My mum was so angry she waited on hold at the support number for 30 minutes before getting through to someone (sounded like India) who proceeded to say "your son probably ordered them too late"!!! “Late. Dead. No response”

Ordered flowers for Mother's Day a week or so before. Selected the 14th for delivery. The flowers then arrived on the 16th, a sparse dead collection wrapped in a bit of tissue paper. I had to run out on the 15th to buy more flowers to replace the missing ones. Glad that I did as I was embarressed by the ones I recieved late. I've emailed (a few times) debenhams flowers (with photos of the flowers)on the 16th, still awaiting a response. I can't hear very well so ringing is out of the question… Read Full Review

I simply just can't find anything positive to say about Debenhams Flowers. Placed an order several day before Mothers Day this year for delivery on the Saturday. Flowers didn't arrive. Called "customer services", seemed like an offshore call centre and basically the guy laughed about and promised they'd arrive for Monday.. he clearly didn't have a clue about Mother Day being a special occasion and seemed to think a refund was good compensation. I ordered my Mum some flowers for Mothers Day. And the delivery service was perfect, but when she sent me a picture of them i was very dissapointed and embrassed that they looked nothing like what i ordered. They were very sparse and just chucked in some tissue paper with no resemblance to the photo from the website. I ordered lillies and carnations and recieved thistles and mostly leaves! My daughter lives in Spain and ordered some flowers for me for mother's day. Mother's day is this Sunday 15th March and I received the flowers on the 11th March. I think it would have been nicer to have had them delivered closer to mother's day and they knew it was for mother's day as it said so on the card. The flowers were fresh and pretty and they arrived in a lovely box with pink tissue paper. I think for the same price you would get better value from a florist though… Read Full Review

Don't waste your money, time or effort on this terrible service. Ordered mother's day flowers 2 weeks in advance to be delivered to my mother on the 13th at her work address. Ordered flowers in plenty of time for a birthday gift - they never arrived. No one tried to contact me, and when I eventually got through to the Bulgarian call centre, I was told the order was held up due to a technical issue?? They gave the option for re-delivery or cancellation. Needless to say I cancelled. A total waste of time - I wish I had read these reviews first! I recently ordered some flowers for my mother's 70th. Somehow, I accidentally managed to select an incorrect delivery date. I emailed them and received no response. I called them instead and was told by some very miserable person on the other end of the phone that they would contact the suppliers and ask them to change the date and confirm with an email. I ordered two bouquets for friends who had helped me move house. Frankly I was so embarrassed when I saw the bouquets that had been delivered. 75% of the roses were wilting on receipt and I would estimate there were about £10-worth of flowers in each bouquet (I paid £40). I complained and received a refund - but quite rightly too! If I hadn't I would have referred the matter to Trading Standards.
