I ordered an Indesit washing machine for my 81 year old mother-in-law.I received an email as promised from Tesco stating that it would be delivered within 2-3 days and that the delivery agent would unpack it for her. We did not pay for installation as Tesco wanted £19.99 for that, which is ridiculous for a 5 minute job. It was delivered as promised but they did not unpack it for her. I went to see her and found an 81 year old attempting to move around and unpack a heavy washing machine!
I complained to Tesco immediately as their email stated that they would unpack. They tld me that I should have paid the £19.99 and they would have done it, even though their initial email stated that this was part of the service.
I wrote back to them and they couldn't even be bothered to reply.
I will not buy from them again.
