Several weeks ago I ordered my first item from play.com. After the claimed delivery time of 3-5 days had passed I emailed the customer support address and heard back nothing in 2 days. I then emailed again and heard nothing.
I was quickly becoming frustrated and couldn't think of anyway to get hold of anyone from Play, but then I realised they have a facebook page. I sent them a private message through facebook with my order number and explanation of what had happened and got a reply immediatly. The guys who run this page have some knowledge and followed up my complaint and ensured that a new item was dispatched to me immediatly. It arrived the second time round thankfully, so I would recommend contacting them this way if you ever have trouble, however it is still a lot of effort that should never have to be made.
Overall, they have terrible customer service and they print the PRICES of items onto the package, this is why so many items get stolen in the post and dont arrive. The Royal Mail seem to have a lot to answer for!
