Where to start:
1. Returned an item following their process only for my Play.com account to be closed on day of me returning the item, so I never got refund and no record of the purchase.
2. Continually closes account after making orders; this can be incredibly annoying on pre-orders which sell out. Also means I never know if I'm going to get an item or not.
3. When calling customer service to enquire about my account closure they state it is for additional security check and will be sorted in 48 hours (Play.com cancels all orders after 3 days on hod BTW). 48 hours and no response so call again to be told it's going to be another 3 days for security check. What is the point, when order is no longer going to exist?!
I can now happily state that I will NEVER buy anything from Play.com ever again. They may be cheap for some things, but you pay in the long run.
