I went on to play.com to buy an Irish rugby jersey. It was advertised on the site for €29.99 yet once it went into the cart it was €74.49. I got in contact with their customer service to bring it to their attention. they denied there was any problem and said that it was due to security on my computer. I told them there was no way this was the case as i have tried it on a three computers. They still claimed nothing was wrong. Mysteriously though it was fixed then! I then purchased it at the €29.99 price. This was on the 15th of April. Now, eight days later on the 23rd i get a mail sating that the item is no longer available? It took them eight days to realise the item wasn't in stock. This is an extremely bad way of treating customers and is extremely bad on play.com’s part. I most certainly will never shop here again.
