I have bought many items from Play.com - all have been delivered as advertised and at better-than-average prices. Unfortunatley, the 'Free' delivery option stating that delivery times of 3 - 5 working days is misleading. If the item isn't delivered the Help page states that regional variations can cause delays and that Play will not investigate any delivery until 15 days after the item was dispatched. If it might be 15 days, Play should say so up front and not expect customers to find this out from the small print after the expected delivery date. I stopped using Game for these sort of reason! Will I still use Play? Yes, but only for items I am prepared to wait for.
