I ordered a Birthday present for my Grandson. The item was advertised as 'in stock' at the time of ordering. I didn't hear anything from this firm and after approximately 10 days I emailed to ask when I could expect delivery. They replied that they were awaiting stock but could not give me any idea as to how long I would have to wait. The item at the time of ordering was £17.99. I Googled the item and lo and behold Play.com came up with the exact toy in stock for £30+ . I rang Play .com and queried this and they said it was a different supplier. I am annoyed on two counts - the fact that at the time of ordering it was marked 'in stock' - if it was NOT in stock they shouldn't have accepted my order. Secondly I had no communication from this firm to tell me that there were problems with the stock. I shall not be dealing with Play.com again and neither will I recommend them.

had exactly the same problem i ordered a cd which they said was in stock but four weeks later i was still waiting for it. When i checked its status it said awaiting stock,this company is very unreliable and i will very much hesitate before ordering anything from them again. I had problems before when i ordered two different cds they sent two the same. Play.com dont seem to be at all bothered how long they keep you waiting for items. Very poor service. I have been waiting for a cd since 29th of February.
