I have been a customer of Play.com for several years.
Before you purchase here 2 things to note:
1. All items state an estimated dispatch time - either within 24 hours or 3-5 days etc. IGNORE THIS. Items will NEVER dispatch on time. Their getout clause is stating that it's only an estimate!
2. Should you require a refund or have a problem with your item, be prepared for a battle. Customer service is terrible.
I purchased a USB Mic for £67.99.
Used a £65 gift voucher and £2.99 on my credit card.
Item stated dispatch in 3-5 days.
Waited a MONTH before receiving the INCORRECT ITEM.
Sent this back and never received any replacement.
Hence I initiated a refund.
Play.com state they have refunded the full amount of £67.99 onto my card.
Checked my card and only £2.99 refunded.
I've been ringing every day for the past week telling them they need to send me a refund voucher for £65, as I'm the original £65 voucher short.
They can't seem to get this and keep saying they need to investigate. I don't understand what is so hard to understand!!
Now been in touch with my credit card company who are also chasing.
I will never shop here again and will never recommend this site to anyone.
