I bought a laptop 8 months ago.
It recently failed.
So i contacted them as you would when faulty within warranty but all I got was the popular responce so many get stating they no longer service this model. So I was to contact the manufacturer.
Basically I did a bit of looking around and unless the item is under 28 days they try to wash there hands of it.
It took me 3 weeks of constant complaining to them by email and phone for them to finally pick it up.
After that I heard nothing. Took over 1 month for them to finally return it. It was scratched to bits.
I would avoid play.com for anything that may breakdown. There after service is worse than Pcworlds/Currys.
