Great service, quick & easy

First time using this service, which was recommended by a friend. I had a clear out of my loft and came across hundreds of cd's and dvd's that had been stored up there for quite a while, as I no longer have a DVD or CD player the items were pretty redundant and I would've ended up throwing them or giving them away until my friend recommended Music Magpie.

After downloading the app it was simple to use and I began scanning all the items in, a bit shocked when I was only getting 20p a CD on average but it's surprising how it all mounts up. I did the same with the DVD''s and by the end of it I'd clocked up nearly £100.

Once I'd agreed on the order and accepted the quote I found a few boxes and boxed all the items up (no more than 15kg per box) using the app I managed to book a free courier collection and even better I was able to book a day suitable to make sure I'd be in. I labelled all the boxes with the labels sent via email and just waited for collection.

The items were collected the following day and within 48hrs had reached music Magpie, within another 48hrs the items had been checked and the money had been deposited in my bank account.

All in all I was very satisfied with the service offered, communication was excellent the whole way through with constant emails to update me on the progress of my order. I'm now a £100 up for items that were useless to me, sure I could've got more money if I set about selling each item individually or in bundles on selling websites but to be honest who has the time or inclination for that!!!

I'd definitely recommend music Magpie, in fact I already have to a couple of friends who have all had positive experiences too! I will be using again without doubt
