Shopping with IWOOT has been the worst experience I have ever had as a consumer, I don't understand how they get away with such shady policies, and think that they should be investigated. IWOOT are owned by the HUT Group who I will also be avoiding from now on, as it is the same people who run both, therefore the same problems.

At first, placing an order with IWOOT was easy and pleasant, their website is good, and they said they dispatched the order quickly. The problems started to occur a few days later when my order was due to be delivered. For some reason IWOOT split my order into two packages, sent them together, then delivered one but not the other.

After reporting the items missing to customer service they said they had been sent back to them and they would resend them - they never did this. I contacted customer support numerous times and they were so unhelpful, they wouldn't give me any information, wouldn't replace the items, and wouldn't give me a refund. This went on for weeks and weeks, and thankfully I was eventfully able to get my money back through paypal.

IWOOT don't have a phone number, and they wont call you even if you request it so it is impossible to get spearing to anyone, this is the same for the HUT as well. I have never written a review for anything before, but people should know to avoid this company, nobody needs this kind of hassle at Christmas either. The products on IWOOT are available nearly everywhere, including amazon and ebay, so I would suggest if you see something on the site you like, search for it and buy it elsewhere. At least ebay and amazon will protect you as a consumer.
