After weeks of waiting, item never came

In short, absolutely awful. Let me state this transaction was with 'Leo's Media Exchange,' within Base.com.

Ordered a DVD for my partner's birthday at the end of November. After a couple of weeks, got in touch to see where it was - was told to give it 14 days as it could be coming from abroad. After 18 days, had to get bac in touch.

Was then told they didn't know what happened and would send it out from UK - wait 5 days. After a week, without any notice, was emailed and told I was getting a refund in 7-10 days. I had to actually get in touch with them myself to ask why I was now receiving a refund instead of the item I ordered (!) to which they told me 'my supplier said they sent it out but then followed up with no stock'

Useless doesn't cover it. Not even bad customer service, just no customer service at all.

So, now I have no DVD and am down money for Christmas
