“RIP OFF COMPANY BEWARE ”

Written on: 21/10/2012

Absolutely a fraud company. I bought a Hand Held Steam Cleaner in June still awaiting fulfillment, its now October 2012. I used them through Mightydeals.co.uk. I have now contacted them to tell them to stop taking any deals from them. Their emails all bounce back. Russell on their customer services is a con artist! It is shocking that this company has a full blown fancy website with so many products. Where are the goods then? Where is Russell? Will definately be contacting Trading Standards. You… Read Full Review

“Beware”

Written on: 02/10/2012

Bought a steam mop from KGB, took nearly 6 weeks to arrive, when it did it was clearly faulty, had been used before, never worked and when I contacted them by email, guess what, received a bounce back. £60 down the drain. Also contact KGB and got a bounce back - maybe my next move will be Watchdog or Trading Standards… Read Full Review

“TAKE YOUR MONEY BUT SEND NOTHING”

Written on: 01/10/2012

As per other reviews, I purcahse a deal, this time through KGB Deals for an umbrella. I purchased the deal went online to Redstone and paid the £4.99 postage and packaging. The disclosure information on the KGB deal stated to expect 21 days for delivery that was on the fifth of July. Following the expiry of the 21 days having paid the postage and packaging with my credit card and it being debited immediately i chased the order, my online account still said 'AWAITING FULFILMENT'. I… Read Full Review

“Would not recommend Redstone”

Written on: 16/09/2012 by cpr88 (1 review written)

I purchase a voucher for a steam cleaner from Gogroopie then went to the Redstone website to redeem it having to pay postage and packaging. I received the item, which was not worth the money and didn't work properly. I have been trying to contact Redstone for over a month, leaving emails but they have not responded. The order states that it has not been fulfilled so will not give instructions on how to return the item. No telephone number or address has been given on their site. I agree with… Read Full Review

Wow, I am pleased - not being nasty, that other people have experienced problems with Redstone, as you say there is no contact number for them. I had a mop which was faulty, I sent it directly back to Redstone Shopping at a cost of £12.60. I contacted Groopie again and again and finally received my credit of £59.99 for the mop, I sent a letter with proof of postage and a copy of their statement that they would refund postage if it was their fault, and again silence. Go Groopie say I have to deal with them direct. Chance would be a good thing. Dont buy from them!! I have bought from Groupon with great success.

“NOT SURE WHETHER THEY'RE INCOMPETENT OR SCAMMERS”

Like other reviewer(s), paid £4.99 postage and heard nothing since 6 weeks later. No address or phone on their website which I THINK is illegal. Next call to Trading Standards. Avoid at all costs… Read Full Review

Hi Tigichic,
As my email to Kgb had bounced I eventually left a message on the wall of KGB's facebook page. (Note, there is more than one KGB group, so I left the same message on both group walls) explaining what happened and letting them know exactly how upset I was! Within a few minutes someone responded to my message and contacted KGB customer support. They refunded my £54.99 straight away to my credit card. They said obviously Redstone wasn't going to be able to refund my £10. shipping so in place of that they would give me £10. credit in my KGB account that I have to use within 2 months. So far I haven't found anything else I would like to use the £10. on. I'm happy with the refund, but still very disappointed I didn't get the Bullet Express Trio Blender.

I have also had problems. Ordered a voucher for £54.99 for a Bullet Express Trio blender and paid Redstone the extra £10. shipping on May 26th. After the specified waiting time, I emailed Redstone and (name removed) who owns the Redstone domain web site replied each time saying it would still take another week. Then I had a more official looking email from KGB explaining that Redstone had received faulty blenders and were waiting on more and that it would be 28 days before my purchase would be sent to me. There was also a link in that email to click on for a refund.
However I decided to wait out the 28 days, it has now been 32 days. I've emailed (name removed) again, only to find his google mail address has been permanently deleted!!! So I decided to click on the link in that official looking email from KGB that offered a refund and typed a long email to them .. after sending.. it bounced back to me undeliverable!!! At the moment it is looking like this (name removed) has set up a scam operation. He appears to be the sole owner of Redstone and had an online based email account with google, making it difficult to gain his IP (computer) address. His regristration address for his website is..

I know how you feel. I purchased two giant beanbags from KGB deals. The one voucher did not work so emailed them. I received an email straight back to say that it was sorted out and to ahead with the voucher. I had to pay an extra £30.00 postage for the two beanbags, that was 30th July. Guess what..four emails later, I am still waiting for a reply and no beanbags and same 'Awaiting fulfillment'. DONT USE THIS COMPANY.

Lesson learnt too late these people have no intentions of fulfilling any order I have been fighting with them for 4 months and now there email is no lojger viable. am going to write to the Judge in the Sunday Mail they should no be allowed to get away with it. By the way consumer protection say nothing can do as it was a voucher purchase and you need to get your money back from voucher provider - good luck with that they don't even answere emails after they have your money!!!!!!!!!

I don't think Redstone are a legitimate company. I had my suspicions as their website looks cheap and their email address is through gmail. I ordered a product at the beginning of July through KGB Deals, the merchant was Redstone and I still haven't received my product. Luckily I've only spent £12 but will be careful never to purchase anything from this merchant again. I suspect they advertise goods that they don't actually have, take people's money and that's the end of it. Should have trusted my instincts.
