Trust in their warranty!

I bought a Tamron 70-200mm VC lens off Panamoz.com in 2013 (came with a free 3-year warranty). It recently developed an intermittent auto-focus fault where occasionally it would work for 15 seconds then 'clunk' and stop.

I contacted Panamoz and spoke with Tina (who I have dealt with a few times over my years of being a customer with them) and she asked me to send it to Intro 2020 who are Tamron UK's main repair company for an estimate.

I had to pay for delivery for the estimate, less than a tenner but the estimate was free. It took around 3 working days for the estimate to come back and the total including labour and VAT was £352.40. I sent the estimate over to Tina with a preference of being paid by bank transfer (to avoid paypal fees) and less than 24 hours later the money was in my bank account ready to pay for the repair!!

Couldn't ask for more really, 3 years local warranty that actually works. They don't ask you to send it to anyone but the main manufacturers repair company (I had to send a Nikon D750 back for a recall and they told me to send it back to Nikon UK).

I have bought most of my kit from Panamoz, well over £4k worth. I won't be shopping elsewhere for equipment available on their site!

Cheaper than the UK and amazing customer service, what's not to like?
