I have used DV247 many times in the past - but crucially i hadn't bought anything from them for a couple of years before i decided to purchase a pair of active monitors and a monitor controller from them because they were in stock on the website and cheaper than the competition...

Something important to note is that since i last used DV247 they have switched Couriers from DPD to UPS and here lies the crux of my problems with them and the reason for my review...

I placed my order on a friday afternoon and was told the order would not be processed until the monday morning, therefore i could expect delivery through UPS Express to arrive Tuesday or Wednesday at the latest... it didn't arrive on Tuesday and although the UPS tracking info on the website stated that a 1st unsuccessful attempt to deliver my package had been made, UPS had clearly not been to my property as they didn't leave a card, and i was home all afternoon, same thing Wednesday...

I called DV247 and spoke to customer services who took some additional delivery instructions from me to assist UPS in case they were struggling to find my property and instructions to leave the parcel in a safe place in case there was no-one home...

Thursday and Friday came with no delivery, despite the UPS website stating every day that my parcel was on the vehicle for delivery - i made repeated calls to DV247 customer service to try to ascertain the reason for the delay only to be met with a bored sounding assistant who fed me a string of meaningless platitudes without ever resolving my problem... at no point did the person from customer services actually find out the reason for the delay to the delivery...

It's now monday over a week later and despite assurances through email that my parcel would arrive today - it hasn't...

I have spent thousands of pounds over the years with DV247, and in the space of a week and a half they have managed to undo all of the good will they accrued over years of my custom... I've read elsewhere that the drop in the quality of their service has come about as a result of being bought out by a German company, and while i'm not expert on the details of that acquisition, my personal experience has been horrendous and left me feeling that DV247 are now a haphazard operation with careless, ineffectual customer services and a frankly abysmal courier delivering their goods...

In short, i will NEVER buy so much as a guitar string from DV247 again, and if you're reading this review i strongly recommend you look elsewhere for an alternative vendor... DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY WITH THIS COMPANY!
