We purchase a computer from this store early part of this year as we thought that this store would be good at customer service and after sales service, this wasn’t the case unfortunately.
We rang the Know How team on the phone 2-4 time before going to the store to complain as the people in the call centre had tried everything they could and they had given up on the computer we had no choice but to spend time going to the store to complain.
When we arrived at the store someone had a look over and said that they would take the computer to see what’s wrong and this could take 10 days, but I was not prepared to be without a computer for 10 days as we simply have no time and need the computer to do work.
We spoke to one of the managers called Rav, he said the same thing and said they would test the computer in store too see what’s wrong. Then he wandered off and then we waited for him to come back and with attitude he said did you want to speak to me?
We then walked of the store with a non-working computer and will go to Costco to buy another computer.
I would advise anyone not to buy from Currys and avoid going to the Currys store in Birstall if the manager Rav is working, he only see customers to grab a sale. The funny thing was he had a "Customer Champion" card around his neck, he probably printed by himself because I saw no way of him winning over any customers apart from new customer!
Avoid at all costs - Spend your money else where.
