“WOWCHER deal gone wrong ”

I ordered two garden loungers through Wowcher. My fault, I didn’t realise I had to further action the voucher and only remembered about it a couple of days after it expired. I have twice emailed Chimp online and had no response. I paid £53.99 in total and have nothing to show for it.

“Two chairs and a table - Chimp online via Wowcher”

The packaging was damaged on arrival. The contents were also damaged including scratches to the chairs and table, revealing rust on one of the table legs. Very disappointing, made worse by no response to my emails to Chimp Online. I am hoping Wowcher can resolve this. This is a lesson learnt in buying online and not to do it.

“Poor quality item. Poor Customer Service. Never again! ”

Bought 2 reclining garden chairs via Wowcher. Came with scratches, rust, dents, missing foot protector & broken plastic arm rest. Immediately emailed chimp-online and had no response so got into with Wowcher and after about 7-10 days I have received a full refund. I’m now waiting to find out what to do with the chairs! Wowcher were efficient & Inwould use them again but I will never use Chimp-online again. Absolute rubbish in every aspect going.

I have had exactly the same problem, no response chimp and one of their email addresses bounded back my email. I am no waiting to hear back from Wowcher.

Its terrible isn’t it. Wowcher should cancel ALL sales with Chimp.
Wowcher gave me a full refund and told me I could keep the chairs!!! Although I went out and bought 2 from an actual shop instead of online…now I have 4 !!
Hope you get it sorted.

“Useless and Incompetent”

I have ordered a Bluetooth Headset twice now through the Go Groopie website only for it not to be delivered within the 2-3 weeks they allow themselves. So having allowed sufficient time I chased the order and expressly asked that it be fulfilled and not cancelled. However, on each occasion the first and only response from these people was to cancel the order. They have the right name at least because thay are a buncg of monkeys who cannot fulfill a simple order. The worst customer service I have ever received and I urge everyone to stay well clear of these idiots and look for alternatives elsewhere.

“Do not buy anything from here”

Do not buy anything from this company. I redeemed a voucher from Wowcha for 300 solar fairy lights first off the products did not arrive (later on I found that they were using Yodel so of course that would be a problem) I tried to ring them, but all you receive is a BT answer phone. Then I contacted WOWCHA regarding them and basically got asked to email them. What a carry on. I explained how many times that the products had not arrived and I requested a full refund. I must have said this 4 times. They then decided to completely ignore my request and stated that they had resend the product. By now I had done what I should of which is search the internet to see reviews. Obviously the quality control department at WOWOCHA is not doing it's job as there are loads of reviews about this so-called company-all saying the same thing. Anyway, eventually the product that I did not want came. What a piece of rubbish, if I had built it myself I could have done a better job. The hassle that has been caused by this is quite unbelievable. Please save yourself the hassle, do not waste your hard earned cash here.

“Appalling service all round”

Bought a pair of headphones as a Christmas present last year for my chair-bound father. The feed to one channel failed during this year but Chimp electronics claim the is only a 6 months warranty on their products and refused a refund or a replacement, or a repair - I thought all electronic items had a statutory 12 months guarantee - clearly they don’t have the confidence that their products are of sufficient quality for them to last in excess of six months – an atrocious company, avoid at all costs!

“Never Again”

Bought 2x string of 300 fairy lights through Wowcher which did not arrive, emailed to cancel my order and return my money, they took it upon themselves to resend the item. Emailed them as i wanted to send the items back-no clear returns policy - so much hassle I kept the lights and now one set does not work!! I had my doubts about this company which have only been proved to be true. There is no contact number to be able to speak to any human being Never will i use this company or wowcher again!

What a load of rubbish never really been able to use it. The lead doesn't fit so it wont charge properly. Never been any good since I bought it .I was a chimp buying it. Should have listened to sons. They have all taken to try and the Verdict is I threw my money away.

“Nothing but trouble ”

Bought 2 tables from them last October. The wring products were sent so waited 6 weeks to get correct one. One failed a month after we started using it. It was returned and replaced with a new unit but that. Took nearly 1 month. 2 weeks later screen broke and had to pay £25!for new one. They sent new unit. 6 weeks later both tablets failed. They got sent back again 1 month ago. No message or call etc so I emailed only to be told our order is on HD as I requested refund.. They won't refund but the product is so rubbish I don't really want it. Terrible service even worse products

I purchased a 9inch tablet bundle through woucher.Its the worst made device I've ever seen.It was supposed to be rrp £260 I paid £65 its not worth a fiver.It says 8gig internal memory this is a total lie.Its got less than a gig of internal memory, the rest is on SD card,all in all its cheap tacy rubbish sold under false pretences. My advice is to stay well away,I can guarantee you will be disappointed.

I bought 2 children's tablets through wowcher for Christmas presents for my 6 and 7 year olds. Checked when arrived all seemed ok so put them away for the big day. Children opened them all excited to have their own tablet to find that one would not charge off the mains charger supplied but would charge through the micro USB port and the other the micro USB port would not work only the mains charger, not the biggest problem in the world but disappointing. After finally getting them charged we started to download some games only to find that most games would make the tablets crash, after finding games that do work the children had only been playing for 30 - 45 min and the battery was flat. This made for some unhappy kids on Christmas Day not only could they not get games that they wanted but no sooner had the tablets been charged they were out of battery. The final insult came when 2 weeks later the tablet that would only charger through usb stopped charging and the other stopped turning on 2 weeks after that. I was not expecting for the build quality to be that of an ipad or a kindle as this was reflected in the price but you would expect it to last longer than a couple of weeks, most of the time spent on charge rather than payed with.

I Bought a Tablet with Voucher.Took about 2 months to deliver ; missing cables ,manual that were supposed to be in the parcel.Never worked properly and stopped working completely after 6 weeks.Took it to 2 computer repair shops;they said it was useless and they could not repair it. When I emailed Chimp Electronics got an automated reply,and it usually took about 2 weeks to reply .I finally sent it back to them as they had agreed to replace it or send me a refund.They denied receiving it whe Ireturned and said they could not do any more for me,

Bought earpones through Wowcher. They sent the wrong ones as they were the "closest match" to what was originally ordered. After using the returns lable ptovided by the company themselves they inform me that i should have used a courier company who woulf provide a tracking number ! No earphones and no refund and no-one to take the call. £50 lost to this dishonest company !

“Rubbish”

Bought tablet for daughter through wowcher was working fine for two weeks then pop ups started appearing it keeps turning on and off and lets just say adult apps have appeared that cant be deleted Avg virus protection picks the viruses up but cant delete them as it says administrator has,added them which either means its second hand or chimp has added them some help would be appreciated.

On 8 November bought a tablet from them on a wowucher website . Instead of 5 working days of delivery time was waiting for over 3 weeks . When tablet finally arrived had a deep scratch on the screen and in general such a cheap quality ... Did send an email to them letting them know about the problem but have received a reply thaf item was delivered and I should enjoy my new tablet! What a joke ! Did not bother to continue arguing . Rubbish service and quality! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM !

I bought the Bluetooth twistable headphones from Wowcher. They are slow on delivery, slow on emails, and when they finally got here, they delivered the wrong ones. They actually put the wrong ones into the right box - a very sneaky move. Customer service are rude and don't even speak very good English, and even though they sent the wrong thing they refuse to pay reurn postage. I would NEVER buy from this company again. Reported to Wowcher. AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!

Seen some negative reviews on here, but from my dealings I have to say that they have been brilliant. I ordered a tablet and a few days later I had a royal mail card left through my door with the words "left in blue bin" could not believe it, anyway went to bin empty well was recycling rubbish but no parcel. I contacted royal mail who fobbed me off basically and said to go through the sender, to which I did and they said they would file loss of parcel claim form. After a few weeks still not heard from royal mail so went back to the sender and they will chase up the claim but as it's near Xmas will send out another tablet. Unbelievably a very professional outfit and if only royal mail were as professional then I wouldn't be in this situation. Chimp electronics I cannot thank you enough you have been absolutely brilliant. I would buy from you again and recommend you to anyone. Many many thanks. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

After ordering 2 items from this company and having only received one I called them. My problem was rectified immediately and my second item was received soon after. On receipt of this item I noticed that something was missing. Not from this order but from the previous one. I called again and my complaint was dealt with and the missing item was dispatched. I know these things shouldn't occur and after reading such negative comments about this company I was concerned I wouldn't get my order at all. I would like to say how both my complaints were dealt with quickly and pleasantly and would not hesitate to use them in the future.

I bought a 9" tablet from Chimp Electronics using a Wowcher and ended up returning it within the same week. I used a guaranteed next day delivery and have proof that they received it. Bought a chimp tablet less than 1 month ago. It only seems to work when plugged in charging. The charge is at 100% but as soon as the power cable is unplugged the device switches off. Any ideas?

I have just purchased a set of Chimp Go Sports headphones and I believe I have charged them correctly (LED was red and then blue but as soon as I remove the charging cable, the LED goes off and holding any of the 3 (advance, play/hold and back) buttons for 3 secs doesn't power up the headphones. The 'instructions' card in the pack mentions a 'blue tooth' button but all I have is the 3 buttons above. Can you help please? Thank you

Hello Carolineq. Doesn't surprise me from Wowcher or chimp, I had three tablets from WOWCHER delivered and all three were absolutely no good, they were dangerous they didn't work properly Couldn't charge,and when I try to return them for a refund or replacement I was fobbed off and was told there was nothing they can do. So I have three absolutely useless tablets sitting indoors doing nothing. All I can suggest is keep pestering get in touch and keep pestering and if they stop fobbing you off like they did me tell them that you will be in touch with the trading standards...keep pestering, Get in touch and cancel your order. Please let me know how you get on, and I hope you have better luck than I did!!! .

I received the tablet in October as a gift. I have since given it to my daughter. There is an issue, when the earphones are plugged in the music plays through earphones as normally however music plays loudspeaker as well. I have gone through all settings and it cannot be resolved. It's annoying because using headphone would eliminate any noise from internal speaker like any other electrically product. What needs to be done or is it a faulty tablet?

I bought a tablet though wowcher from chimp I sent mine back & got proof of posting chimp never got back to me I phoned & Emailed lots of times without reply in the end i was going to the small claims court though the trading standards then I got a full refund from wowcher Good luck keep Emailing & phone wowcher help line & report it .

I have been trying to download an app called flightrader24 free into my chimp android 10" tablet but the tablet will not allow this to be done. It is saying that it is not compatible with my tablet. Why is this? It is so annoying and I am on Android 4.2.2. Can anyone help please?

My friend bought the chimp tab a while back and only recently got it out of the box but it won't power up or turn on. She gave it to me to have a look and I'm having the same problem. Can you help?

Charge it up. Or just connect the charger for a few minutes then power it up.

is there any way I can get hold of a READABLE user manual for the 9" Chimp tablet. the one that came with the tablet is unreadable

I purchased a Digital flash memory camcorder from yourselves through a voucher I bought from Wowcher. It arrived a few days ago and myself and husband have spent several hours trying to understand the very poor instructions that came with it. The item is the worst quality I have ever came across and it is certainly not worth the £29 I paid for it. I would like to return it and have a full refund as I am disgusted with this camcorder which I am never going to be able to use. It might not have been so bad if the instructions could be understood. How can I return it?

I am attempting to connect my Chimp tablet. It shows the network ok, but when I input my password it comes up with authentication problem'. Why is this??

My chimp 9 inch arrived this afternoon, it won't turn on, & the instruction book is useless, no pictures, diagrams. I have done what it says, but all I'm getting is a chimp logo on screen. Help?

If it is a chimp tablet phone them and ask they are incredibly helpful.It may take a while to get through on the phone but they are really good

My Chimp was a gift for Christmas and the charger has failed already! Is it worth getting in touch with mfr as one reviewer states that it is an internal wiring problem but did not say how problem was solved. Will Chimp replace or refund money?

To be honest I'd prepare yourself to write it off.... I've tried to contact Chimp on numerous occasions and they just don't answer, except for an automated email. They are an absolute waste of time. I'm in the process of sending my complaint to the trading standards people. The voucher people I got it from initially are as bad.

Absolutely get in touch with Chimp you can find theit phone no on line I had the same problem with a tab;et I phoned them spoke to a really helpful guy they e mailed me a returns form and prepaid label and within the week i had a completely new tablet. First class service.
