ordered a cooker AO tried to charge £30 for delivery which I would not pay set a date for today (17/1/17 free delivery) for cooker to be delivered. Had email from AO at 11am saying the cooker would be here by 12.00 Midday. Didn't turn up so phoned them at 2pm to be told the driver had supposedly tried to deliver at 10am (1 hour before the email) which was a blatant lie. Then AO customer services tried to charge us for redelivery the next day. Unfortunately for AO I had full clear CCTV which shows no attempted delivery. Customer services say the driver doesn't leave a calling card but could describe my front door. I could describe their front door I have access to Google Street Maps also. Poor company poor customer services poor AO when they go out of business. Will be piddling myself laughing when this happens. There's a north south divide for jobs, money etc with AO based there Im really not surprised.

Hi,

I'm sorry to read that you have not received your order on your chosen day.

Unless customers have paid for a specific time slot, we deliver from 7am-7pm and we text, email customers with an estimated time of arrival. We always endeavour to deliver within these times but sometimes circumstances beyond our control prevent us from doing so.

When our delivery crew arrive at a customers property, if there is no answer, the driver will ring the customer. If he doesn't get an answer, he'll ring his office and they will also attempt to contact the customer. Only at this point, if we can't contact the customer, will the delivery be failed.

It certainly wouldn't make sense for us not to deliver as ultimately this causes inconvenience for the customer and more expense for us. Although we reserve the right to charge to redeliver, it's extremely unusual that we would.

Unfortunately, you've not provided any details for me to locate your order. However, if you can let me know your order number, I'd be happy to investigate this further.
