As a landlord I ordered the disconnection, recycle of old, delivery of new and installation of a £600 machine.
Long story short, and now for the second time (the first on a separate order), AO was not able to fit the washing machine because there was, and I quote 'glue on the spiggitt' and I would also need an extension. The driver claims he then acquired permission from the tenant to take the old and leave the new - still in it's wrapping. The tenants states no permission was given whatsoever and in fact they couldn't get out quick enough.
The washing machine is sited NEXT TO the sink.
Several phone-calls later and I now have to go off and find a plumber as AO cannot, now, help me.
Just appalling.
AO site states: We will...Connect it to existing water pipes if it needs plumbing in.
Not True.

I'm sorry to hear that we were unable to install your washing machine and I can understand your disappointment.
Unfortunately, as you have not included your order number, I am unable to look into the driver notes on the order. However, our drivers install many appliances as part of their job, so it wouldn't make sense for the driver not to install an appliance without good reason.
If the driver is unable to install an appliance, he is required to contact his head office to advise them and more often than not will take photos to show the reason why.
As we were unable to install your appliance, you would have been given a full refund. If you would like to send me your order number, I'd be happy to look into this matter further.
