Item ordered based on web-site info. which gave assurance that item would fit my model number. However it was too small despite it being sold to fit that model. When spoke to, the company would not accept liability and inferred that I had only estimated and guessed the size before ordering! They refused to pay the return postage which cost £5! even though it was entirely their fault in claiming the item would be suitable for my model. I will say that delivery was on time and my account was credited in good time (minus the postage cost!) I subsequently bought the item from Buyspares.co.uk with no trouble at all and would thoroughly recommend that company. Needless to say, I would not use the whitegoods co again!!

Order a part for my AEG washing machine that was promised to be delivered in five time. after 2 weeks and many emails and phone calls I throw ed in the towel and order from AEG. And to my horror found I was being charge £ 7.00 dearer. The man on customer services was as cold as a cucumber, no apology what so ever, no goodwill.

After being let down big time by another company ( KGA SUPPLIES) for a becko drier part I decided to use UK white goods. The price was competitive and I received the part within 3 days. What more can I say. I would definitely use them again.

I was trying to get replacement hinges for an integrated fridge. I emailed ukwhitegoods and the operative said he had the correct part. Ukwhitegoods then sent the wrong part twice, for which I payed return postage each time. Ukwhitegoods then said they didn't stock the required part. Ukwhitegoods did refund me for the hinges, but even though they specifically agreed to refund for the postage, they did not. I'm not that bothered about the £8 postage, but thought on principle ukwhitegoods should refund it. I've emailed twice regarding this issue, but they just ignor me. I now have the impression their mentality is 'just send him anything, he's paying the postage, if he doesn't return it then we're quids in'.

When my Amica oven element stopped working I thought I would have to buy a new oven. Its not a well-known make and I was sure I wouldn't find the parts, let alone have them delivered the next day. I am pleased to say that based on my experience, the UK Whitegoods website is easy to use, with quite a lot of helpful information on repairing domestic appliances. Liked : easy to navigate to the make and model of oven, then find the correct part, easy to place order, super-quick delivery Disliked : not easy to use the online database to find an engineer to do the repair. Tip : don't narrow your search to your postcode, use the nearest big town. And don't just ask for oven repairs, for example. Be more general, just domestic appliance repair. Really good value for money, a choice of delivery methods. My oven is now fixed and working well.
