Bought this model as my husband could see the dials clearer. What a mistake. Door not closing properly, Metal expansion noise when over coming up to temperature. Oven neither holding it's heat, or coming up to heat as on dial. - checked with internal thermometer. Dealer replaced but still the replacement has similar faults - so disappointed - would NEVER in a million years buy this brand ever again. Awaiting a response from the Electrical shop that I purchased this item from.

Sent me the wrong item which I ve sent it back but almost 2 months and no refund till now. Ombusdsman or court? Do not buy from them. Big headache.

Statesman Freezer TF170LW. Bought at the first COVID curfew period with freezers in high demand, Statesman kindly raised the price by 30%. For £400 this is an amazingly basic, dull and very limited freezer. A Beko bought at the same time, same price, is worlds apart in quality, style and features. It has no design effort whatsoever, no 'features', is energy inefficient and simply ugly - it looks like a 1970s model. The cheap plastic handle broke off in the first 3 days (a fault mentioned in other reviews), the freezer regularly ices-up and their 'customer service' woman was appalling - messages were repeatedly ignored - this was 'a technical issue on the website' (my messages were spread over 3 months - all ignored). The company showed no customer values whatsoever, relying smugly on the small print of the guarantee to avoid simply replacing a plastic handle. I'm delighted that I'm now able to get rid of the freezer.

I have had my Statesman washing machine for over a year now & have been pleased with it. Nice & easy to use & washes well.

My statesman washing machine is now 10 years old, Its never broken down , never been serviced I think it will outlast me !!!

We purchased the new tl235lw larder fridge, we oh great British made spare parts easy to get HOW WRONG WERE WE, I RANG SPARES DEOT MONDAY AT 8AM TOLD THE GUY WASNT IN YET SO RING BACK RANG BACK AT 8.45 OH HE WADNT COMING IN DUE TO A DEATH IN THE FAMILY, OK RIGHT SO NO ONE ELSE CAN ORDER TWO GLASS DHELVES THEN, NOPE THEY HAD ALREADY TOLD ME AT 8AM THAT THERE WASNT ANY IN STOCK, BUT IT WAS IMPOSSIBLE TO GET THEM TO JUST ORDER TWO SHELVES!!! ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS BRITISH MADE ZND NO DPARES!! THEN SHE SAID WE SRLL A LOT OF THESE I SAID YEAH I BET BECAUSE YOU JUST SEND OUT 3 SHELVES WITH THE NEW FRIDGE WHICH IS NEXT TO USELESS U NEED 4 AT LEAST, SO I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND BUYING A STATESMAN ITEM AS YOU CANNOT GET SPARES THEY DONT HAVE THRM IN STOCK!! BUT LUCKILY WHERE I PURCHASED IT SAID THE LEC SHELVES FIT AND THEYVE ORDERED ME TWO. THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICES IS VERY VERY POOR Not good idea to buy British really expensive mistake we hzve just made

Purchased 21st August 2017. After initial use found that two program cycles were nearly three times longer than advertised and did not conform to brochure specification. I contacted the local seller who found a further appliance in their shop had same problem and to contact Statesman. I have now exchanged 13 messages with Statesman Appliances who promised an engineer would attend and rectify the problem. That was on the 16th October. I am still waiting. Does not say much for their two year warranty.

Don't buy doesn't wash good doesn't spin not got a rinse setting on the quick wash you have to do it 3 times before the suds come out and that is only with a tiny amount of soap powder cant wait till a have enough money to buy a decent make would not take it even if it was free

Phoned for a spare part on the Tuesday, Very helpful lady found the part, gave me a price, I paid for it there and then, Part arrived next day, What more can I say, Excellent !!!

Just wish to say fridge and freezer BU60LF4 and BU60FZ4 are very very good price and the two year guarantee is nice but thy look and feel that thy will last a lot longer than that and fitted in our kitchen just so . BIG THANK YOU to Statesman and Genesis at Workington for there help.

I bought a Statesman cooker back in March from Statesman, an home appliance company. The cooker was all good until over a week ago when it made a very loud bang and flashes of light came from the sides. I contacted Statesman who said they would have an engineer call us within 48 hours, wee didn't hear anything for about 4 days. Then Statesman called to ask if we had heard from the engineer to which we replied we hadn't, they said they would chase it up. Another two days later we hear from Statesman again asking if we had been contacted by the engineer to which I told them again we hadn't and again they assured me they would chase it up. Another 2 days later and Statesman call again, this time I try to put across that we have been without a cooker for over a week and this is getting ridiculous. The female rep has a terrible attitude and tells me its not her fault as she knows nothing about it but will chase up the engineers again, I ask if she could call me back to let me know what they say and she says no we don't do that that the engineer will call. I tell her we are going round in circles here and ask for a direct number to call the engineer myself and she gives me a number. She doesn't tell me she will call me to see what's happening or anything just hangs up. I try calling the engineer numerous times and think I realise what the problem is, it just rings and rings with no answer. My suspicion is Statesman have been calling me then trying the engineer which just rings out and Statesman put it to the back of their minds, this is the circle I am stuck in with Statesman whom when I try to explain this to offers me no assistance or understanding. Terrible customer service, I would not recommend them at all!

I had same experience numerous times, what apper statments adviseurs do not log the repair at all, this is why engeniers do not get notified and I am seeting and waiting for a week or so. I had have engenier to come so many times, so the money they pay to external company I probably would buy 2 new Bosch cookers. Last time engenier said to me: everything on this cooker is replaices it is only owen left to bracke.....and this morning is exactly what happend. I called Statsmen Appl. adviseur had a terrible attitude...
All what I can say DO NOT BUY ANYTHING MADE BY Statsmen appliences!!!!
