Try Anywhere else (not Repaircare either though)

A repair on a Samsung American style fridge/freezer was booked on a Friday for the following Tuesday morning. I took the time off and no-one showed. I contacted Autowash, the company who had been contracted to carry out the repair, and they said that they'd emailed Glotech on the Friday to say that they couldn't take the booking. They also said that if Glotech offered another date, they wouldn't have an engineer free until the following Monday, a week away with no fridge/freezer. I contacted Glotech, who said that Autowash hadn't contacted them so it wasn't their fault. Glotech made no offer to help further, and I gave up talking to the call centre and emailed instead. In the meantime I booked a repair with another company (another sorry tale so far). Someone from Glotech emailed me to apologise and offer me a discount on the call out charge, which I declined as I knew Autowash couldn't come out in time. I replied stating that I wanted compensation for the wasted time, and that my contract was with Glotech, and that it was up to them to ascertain where the error occurred. I have heard nothing since, 2 weeks later.
