“Avoid at all costs”

They can't communicate. I had to send my item back to them, after 9 days and multiple chat sessions, I have now finally got some info on what's happening with my returned item. So to elaborate slightly, I sent them back an item on a Tuesday, the package tracker showed them receiving the item on Friday, it got to Tuesday the next week and I had heard absolutely nothing from them, not even a generic email to say they'd received the item. Placed an order. 1 month later still not arrived. 5 emails later, unsatisfactory response - orders "lost in transit" it has left me having to pay hideous postage prices with another company to obtain my item before Christmas. Ordered 2 Von Haus Window Vacs and paid for next day delivery as that was the only day I could be at home. Waited in all day and contacted Domu via online chat to confirm it would be delivered. Online chat person garbled something in pidgeon English which indicated it was on the way. Parcel didn't arrive. Had email from Yodel the next day saying my parcel was on schedule and would be delivered sometime! I've been a Domu customer for the last few years and I have to admit that they have really upped their game in the last 6 months. I think its unfair to judge them by the reviews below. Ordered 4 items, 2 arrived damaged and i'm still waiting for the last one. Have spent week and a half calling customer service and trying to deal with this,and what a surprise - it's not going anywhere! Despite sage payment screen saying my card was unauthorised it took my money TWICE. I have been unable to contact the company. Emails are bouncing back and no one answers phone. I got no confirmation of order or confirmation of payment, in fact it said my payment did not go through.however my money was taken. I went direct to designer habitat Ltd the parent company. They provided an an excellent and satisfactory service. I did not get the goods but the money went back into my account. Good luck.

I am having the same problem, they took my money 8 times!! I can't get through to anyone in either domu or the parent comany, very concerning, terrible customer service, looks like they actually don't employ any customer service people! Avoid like the plague!!!

I am not a person to write bad reviews, I just put most customer service issues behind me, life's too short, however, DOMU.co.uk is a different kind of bad customer service, I recommend you do not purchase from this company, based on the unprofessional customer service I received. I found Domu through a friend who couldn't recommend them highly enough. They had a selection of stand mixers all coming with a Free recipe book (I have given this to my friend).
