I bought this to replace defunct Bosch SMS69xxGB that failed after just two years! That machine is identical to this in looks, function but is a lot quieter at 38 db compared to this Siemens which is 41 db. The Bosch did not have triple A energy rating. I decided to purchase this despite my bad experience as I have always been pleased with Bosch machines. Imagine my horror when the Siemens broke down on the second day of use! Siemens were totally unhelpful and wanted me to hang about for a week before sending out someone to look at it! Fortunately Boots Kitchen Appliances came to the rescue and immediately sent a replacement the very next day. good old Boots.

I'm sorry to hear that your appliance broke down on the second day of use. I can imagine how shocked you must have been.

I'm glad that we managed to get a replacement out to you the next day. Sometimes things can go wrong, but it's how a company put it right that brings out their true service colours.
