After ordering an appliance on the Saturday for delivery on the Monday I had waited in until 15:00 on the Monday waiting for a phonecall or indeed for the delivery people to arrive. Seeing as they had not arrived yet I decided to give them a call and after 5 minutes of "your call is important to us" they answered and after giving my details advised me the delivery was not due out today as the appliance was not in stock!! I ordered a Belling cooker 1 month before my new kitchen was due to be installed. the company promised that they could deliver in 8 to 10 days but I asked them to deliver in 3 weeks time. The day before the delivery was due I telephoned to find out if they had a time slot for me. To my surprise they said that there was no delivery due to me on that day. I orederd a Candy washing machine and was contacted and advised it would be delivered soon. I then received an email stating they had run out of delivery vans. A few days later I contacted them again and was told it would be delivered in a week the delay this time was lack of drivers. Don't have a better words to describe shopping experience with Ultimate Appliances--- it was awful!!!! It took them nearly 3 weeks to deliver appliances, but they charged my credit card immediately. The website lets you choose a delivery date based on your postcode, but unlike other companies appliances.co.uk do not actually deliver on the date you choose! I rang them up after the delivery had not turned up. Not that getting through to them is easy, they often hang up or you can't get through despite ringing during the hours stated in their email. I placed an order with this company online, and then phoned up and gave them my credit card details to upgrade the order to a more expansive item. Earlier today they have attempted to review the original, incorrect, item. I have been trying to phone them but they just keep you on hold, and then after I had been on hold for a long time they simply cut off the line (perhaps because it was their 5pm going-home time). We ordered the fridge/freezer on Thursday 27th and the fridge freezer was delivered on the 30th December the day promised and we were informed the time that it would arrive the day before. The delivery man was very nice. I am pleased with the service we received. The only problem was that on the Saturday I was not able to get hold of anyone over the phone. (read more)

I ordered a freezer in August and they said that it was out of stock and they would contact me when it was in stock. After several emails to chase them and no replies I purchased the item locally. I am now trying to get my refund of £280.00 back. They are not responding to my emails strangely. Do not order from this company. They may appear to be the cheapest but you will be better off spending a little more and getting a guaranteed decent supplier. (read more)

Placed online order for Dimplex electric fire. Took the £525 from my credit card then sent me an email asking me to call as they said they couldn't take payment. Phoned them up which took ages to get through only to be told the fire had been discontinued and they would refund the money. Bought the same fire somewhere else. Shocking company, they use a service company to deliver their goods, that is the only contact nr you are given. There is no helpdesk nr for appliance, contact name or anything like that. If you have a problem, it's near on impossible to sort out. Very very poor. They only have a catch all email address; again no name of anyone. No direct phone number. Beware of their website when ordering, you may select a date, which is supposedly an available delivery date, when in reality it isn't ! (read more)

although the website showed oven was in stock , I received an email the day after saying it will take 2-5 days to confirm delivery date as it is out of stock. When called to ask the status after 5 days (they didn't bother to update me themselves) they said it can take up to 7 working days to confirm order. Ordered a dishwasher from this company on 16th September. Roll-on nearly 3 weeks later and I have now cancelled the order because they couldn't fulfill it. I was contacted by the company shortly after the order was placed to say that they were expecting a delivery of new stock in about a week, unfortunately it would just miss the schedule for delivery to my area and push it out by a further week.
