My old fan was noisy, so i telephoned appliance world last year they told me the fans were quiet. They are quiet and if your hot in the night you don't have to get up just turn them on with the remote or turn them of by remote if you are cool enough, they also have a timer so they will shut off automatically. I cant recommend these fans enough and this site has them the cheapest.
There is nothing bad i can say about these fans they are wonderful.
