I had the usual problem of the customer who had got everything he needed or so he thought, from the big name DIY store who did not supply the parts for fitting the products they sold to him. Try to order a cooker hood online, right at the end of the transation the website told me that the security checks had failed and they will contact me the next day. Waited for a phone call which didn't arrive, so i gave appliance planet a call the girl on the phone was very helpful and explained to me why it failed, the reason been I wanteed it to go to another address instead of my billing address . out of this world service, out of this world products and out of this world prices no wonder they are called Appliance PLANET. Appliance Planet are spot on.Fast delivery,although no one rang before it arrived.Good job I was in!!! Cooker hood not the best but all I could find at 50 cms wide. The push button switch for the light only works when it feels like it,but I will put up with it...too much hassle to send it back.If it packs in altogether I will ask for a new one and replace it myself as I am a fully qualified cooker hood light switch engineer !!!! We'd like to offer our sincere apologies to you as it seems due to a technical error you did not receive an e-mail from us informing you of the delay in the stock by the supplier.
We check stock of products as soon as we receive an order and only progress the order if there is stock with the manufacturer/supplier. Initially we had received confirmation of stock but 2 weeks later we were informed of delays which we tried to communicate with you. Unfortunately, our automated e-mailing system didn't work in this case (and a few other orders).
We are otherwise very efficient at informing customers of delays as soon we find out.

This is an activated charcoal filter kit for a new model SMEG cooker hood. As such it was quite difficult to find except from the manufacturer. This company supplied the genuine kit at less than half the list price,and it was delivered in double quick time. Hood up and working well impressed with it and Appliance Planet. (read more)

I placed my order expectign to recieve the goods within 7 - 10 working day as advertised. After 12 working days and several phone calls from me to you I have discovered that I may receive my cooker hood a month and a half after my order. This clearly isn't between 7 - 10 working days yet no one contacted me to let me know. We're sorry to hear you didn't have a good experience buying from us.
For Whirlpool products we clearly state on the product page the delivery time frames are 10-15 working days.
We take payment if we have the item in stock or the manufacturer/supplier has confirmed the product in stock. At the time of ordering the supplier confirmed they had the product in stock hence we took payment however we were let down by them when they later confirm they have stock issues.
We do keep customers informed of delays as soon as we have information from the manufacturer/supplier. Unfortunately, manufacturers/suppliers aren't always quick to let us know.

Can't really fault my experience with Appliance Planet. The price of the item I bought was the first thing that pulled me to the website (around 15% cheaper than other websites) so my only doubt was whether the customer service would be of a good standard. Found this company by doing a search for a cda hood I was interested in. They were the cheapest along with another company but appliance planet had a few more good reviews. So bought from them and chose next day delivery and got my hood at 10am! Not more I could ask for. (read more)

After ordering a cooker hood on the 14th February I discovered it was not in stock after waiting a month for delivery. I demanded a refund which then took over a month to come through. I phoned countless times and was just passed from pillar to post. In their own terms conditions they state that they don't take payment for 'out of stock' goods but they DID! The price was competitive but the customer service was TERRIBLE. If you order from these clowns check the item is in stock before paying! (read more)

Thank you for your review about your experience with us and we're sad to hear it wasn't a good one.
I'd like to outline the reasons why your experience didn't go as smoothly as we'd like to.
1. Delay to the supply of the product - we were let down by the supplier multiple times. Initially we had information from them that the item is in stock and that's why we take payment. Later on we were told there is a delay to this product of 1 week but were then informed again after 1 week there is another delay with no forecast of stock. We can only apologise for this and like you had placed your trust in us we had our trust in the supplier.
2. Refund delay - refunds are done within 24 hours however in this case the sort code you had provided was 1 digit incorrect and the banks only let us know of the "bounced payment" many days later. You gave us these incorrect bank details on 26th March and on 27th March we processed the payment. One 15th April you let us know the correct bank details and the refund was done on that same day which you now have.
We're sorry things didn't go smoothly has we'd all liked but I hope the explanation of events above paints a more accurate picture for you to appreciate.

I bought this firdge from Appliance planet and requested their customer service for quick delivery. The staff on phone were very supportive and responsive. The fridge I recieved withing good time and in good order. Our washing machine broke down after having it for 6 years so we decided to buy another one online. Doing a quick search this appliance planet came up the cheapest on a few of the models we liked and we ended up settling for a cda washer which was within our budget. ordered online in the morning, got a call later afternoon and was asked what day I would prefer, Saturday was perfect so I didnt need to take a day off work. so far no problems using the machine so happy all round. Thank you for review on your experience with us.
I think you did not notice that the Sebo Felix vacuum was on a delivery time frame of 7-10 working days.
The time frame is clearly labelled on the product page where you added the product to basket. The order was placed on Friday 29th March (bank holiday) by yourself and delivered on 15th April - which is 10 working days from the order date, bearing in mind the 2 bank holidays.
We do try and deliver as quickly as possible and on this occasion it took exactly 10 working days but this is within the stated time frame.
