Having purchased a voucher for a nutrition course with 'the fitness training company', i found the course material to be littered with typos, bad grammar and incorrect information. Quizzes cannot be completed due to error messages meaning you need to spend hours redoing them and there is no guarantee that it won't happen again!
Merchants are a small office with a rude and dishonest assistant on the phone! I informed Groupon of the troubles i am having with this company and have requested a refund over two weeks ago. Each time i call groupon i have to explain the whole thing all over again! Only this time to be told that i have accessed the course and can therefore not be refunded. Although the course runs for 12 months, due to personal commitments i was hoping to complete this within weeks, which is advertised as an option. So i have ultimately been misled into purchasing a dodgy service!
Very disappointed with groupon customer services and will never use Groupon ever again. All my friends and family have warned me from using groupon over and over because they have all had very bad experiences.
This isn't my first bad experience groupon, i was burned with a laser at a salon, have been violated at another salon. Yet i still shopped with groupon when something took my interest. This is the last straw, i will escalate this complaint to Watchdog and Trading Standards. Groupon is not safe to be operating with such shabby deals and must be shut down!
I will continue pursuing my refund from groupon for 'the fitness training company' deal, a substandard company and course, how they manage to charge almost £300 at full cost for this course is beyond me.
Unfortunately, the bad experiences with Groupon are VERY bad and sadly at a cost. Groupon have no customer service ethics at all and are quite frankly feeding off of the loyalty of their customers and ripping them off!
