Just thought I'd add to the joys that is Woolworths. I bought a tv which broke whilst still under warranty, it was sentoff to be repaired only for Woolworths to say not to bother and they would just refund me so I could get a new one. Now this was the middle of July and as of today I still haven't had a refund for a tv which has been acknowledged as being broken and not worth repairable. On my calls to see what was hsppening since then I've been told its being treated as a normal return and I may have to wait 28 days before I see the money back in my account, and to me this seems ridiculous that I have to wait this long for my money back on a product they know is broken. I just think its appalling customer service and a joke to have to wait now 3 weeks and counting until I can purchase a new tv

Hi chrisgrim2707,
We're sorry to hear this.
Once an item is faulty and has to be returned, we have to wait for it to be received into our returns centre before we can credit an account. This is only a guideline and it doesn't normaaly take that long, however we do have to advise the maximum amount of days.
