“Worn clothes”

Bought a pair of jeans but when back at home I realised I'd picked up the wrong size. Took them back with the receipt two days later expecting an exchange. Was told that the 'new' jeans I was returning were worn? Company policy was that they 'didn't exchange second hand clothes'! I'd bought them two days before and had never worn them! Really bad experience with unhelpful manager who could only suggest contacting customer services at head office. Won't hold my breath. Will never use this store again.
