Over the period of time, I have experienced a number of online shopping stores. Most of them had undoubtedly good quality products but the problem of delayed delivery persisted with all of them. The website is run by a Russian guy named Rachitsky, based in the US. He sells items in the UK at US prices for less than you can get them in the UK. I ordered some network equipment from him and the equipment arrived intact and on-time. At checkout they charge "£0 shipping". Two weeks after receiving the item, I received a bill from TNT charging the importation VAT plus a £15 processing fee. In total the extra bill was almost £50. Order went through alright, paid through PayPal, I got an order confirmation back immediately and then the next day an email saying that my order was being processed so I thought "so far so good". I would have said your problem is entirely self generated. If ordering anything electrical you need to check the voltage.
Overstock.com are another U.S. site that ships to the UK. they also price in GBP £ are you going to try to get them shut down too.
