“Dreadful, dishonest company! Do not use!”

I ordered several items of clothing and chose to pay over 3 months. One item was too small, so I immediately sent it back and re-ordered a bigger size. I had been offered a £30 discount for putting in the order, and I paid my first installment when I got the statement. By the time I received my next statement the £30 credit had been withdrawn, my account was in arrears & I had been charged interest! When I queried this I was told that as I had returned an item, I was disqualified from paying over 3 months! Nothing on my paperwork to indicate this so argued against the charges. Managed to get the £30 discount back and settled my account minus interest, as agreed with their customer service people, but still got a statement showing interest charged on the unpaid interest!! Eventually got that cancelled, but it's now going to take over a month to cancel my account. Strange - it only took me minutes to open it online!! This company don't accept e-mails, they don't reply to letters and they don't do as they promise over the phone. My recommendation - don't touch them with a barge pole!!

“Worst service ever”

Bought vacuum cleaner and when it was delivered it came with two pin American socket, this company did not want to know, will not take it back so I have to go to the expense of sorting out myself, will never buy from them again

“Terrible online shopping experience”

Ordered Nike trainers for next day delivery to shop and collect. Finally delivered at 5pm to the shop so I went today to collect. I received a child's t-shirt not trainers. After going round many loops on the phone to speak someone to discover that they will re charge me for the trainers to be delivered because they have not yet received the returned item! They have agreed to deliver for free to my home address but I've currently paid for two pairs of trainers and have none yet! I'm a frequent online shopper. This is my first and last isme purchase.

“nothing but problems with isme”

Ever since ive opened an account with isme ive had nothing but problems with late deliveries , missing orders and being charged interest. whenever i speak to any of the customer services advisors they dont seem interested in helping and somethings ask you to send an email to a special dept who will look into it. i would not recommend this site to anyone and maybe look at similar companies like Very.

“Bad customer service Mobile phone warranty issues ”

Bought phone with guarantee. It broke so called mobile insurance for a replacement. They sent 2 replacements and an extra mobile phone insurance. So i sent one back. They still charged me for 2 phones (even though should not have been charged for ANY) plus the extra mobile insurance. So i called/emailed/on line chat many many times to get the account sorted out. After sending me texts and emails saying my account was overdue I eventually got it sorted out. Then the 2nd mobile broke and so i called the insurance, they said i was only allowed to claim once and its now void. How poor is that? I called the the other line re warranty and there is a hassle involved in that too where if THEY decided its not THEIR fault then i will be charged for the postage and repair. Basically dissuading me for sending it in. I would never buy anything from these people again

Excellent customer service, perfect products, dont listen to other reviews, I was scared at first but shocked by how gud their service was. Wudnt be surprised if the bad reviews are from rivals to put people off as isme also has the cheapest price. Trust me, try them, u wnt regret it! !!

“Unbelievably awful”

Got a broken fridge freezer delivered to be told call the makers to arrange a fix or wait two weeks for a return. Another company would call me about return and would need to wait in all day with no specific time! Called to speak to manager three times to be told they would call back never have it is incredible never experienced anything like it in my life.

“terrible!!”

I have been with isme for afew years now and not had any problems, up until now!i had ordered a car seat for my 6 month old baby as she has grown out of the newborn one and needed this asap, I got it in the sale for £68 and had it delivered to my nearest click and collect store, when I received it the box was open and there was no packaging around the car seat it had a crack in the plastic base. I then phoned isme a numerous of time then finally got through and explained my situation, the lady I spoke to asked if I would like another one I said yes and she said she will get them to deliver it to my door for the inconvienance, the car seat was then back at £85 she said I would have to pay that until I receive my new car seat, whiuch was another week to wait, I noticed on my account they had charged me for delivery, I had to phoned up again for them to refund it me!i have just now received my new car seat for it to have NO PACKAGING around the car seat and to find oil all over it. I am fuming about this I phoned isme up and the lady is looking into it as to why im receiving items like this, to be fair she was a lovely lady but I will NOW be ordering from isme AGAIN..

“Censored”

I bought a dress from Isme, and was subsequently asked to post a review. This I did. Unfortunately, it was not positive, as the dress was ripped and had pulled threads hanging from it. I criticised not the dress but Isme's quality control in sending out a garment in such an obviously unwearable state. The review was pulled as not conforming to Isme's standards. Although obviously sending out an badly faulty dress does.

“Poor customer service”

Purchased a touch screen computer for my son's home work, the touch screen failed to work and after following instructions and contacting customer support line for both manufacturer and ISME, a return to the manufacturer who found no fault incredibly but did not confirm touch screen worked, ISME advised I would need to obtain an independent report to which they offered some monies to cover the cost. ISME have sold me a product that does not meet description, is not fit for purpose and expect me to go to the trouble and expense to prove it, I have purchased many items on line incl electrical and never experienced such appalling customer service. Months on my son still does not have a functioning computer and ISME have in effect said tough, your problem. Given other reviews I have read regarding this company I would suggest others steer clear and purchase from other retailers with a proven good customer service.

Shoddy customers service, too long to record items going back onto your account (items that you have returned). Supposed to get a free £10.00 off if they fail to deliver when stated, they left a garbled code over a phone message, when i emailed them for the correct code to use they emailed back, we will remember when you order??? As soon as i have cleared my account, i am off.

I ordered a tumble dryer from the isme website the weekend after Christmas. I selected for them to deliver on New Year's eve. The automated e-mail notified me that they would be delivering between 9am and 5pm. Days later, another e-mail narrowed this time, to between 10am and 2pm. This alone is fantastic, as I often find that deliveries are not narrowed enough, and you end up waiting around for it to arrive. On the day, I received a text confirming these times, and then just before 11am had a phone call from the driver to let me know he was five minutes away. So helpful! =D The men who delivered my tumble dryer, and took away my old one, were cheerful and helpful too! Thank you isme. So refreshing after other Christmas-time delivery nightmares!

“Customer service so bad. Don't order from this company!”

Ordered a wine cooler early December paid in full with break down cover. Told it would be delivered within seven days . Still waiting I ring each day and they promise to ring you back but they don't .they just don't know where the item is in their delivery chain. Today the operator suggested I cancel the order and reorder the item, so much for I will get it in time for Christmas . I will never use this shower again. Can't give any stars.

I have repeatedly had incorrect charges added to my account,customer services depts never answer your query, just sent a stream of automated emails saying they will respond in 6 hours, then 5 days, but they never respond, just go round this loop time and time again. I have now advised isme that if they do not rectify the situation and credit my account with incorrect charges and interest taken I will send my complaint to the financial ombudsman . If you are experiencing the same issues I would urge you to do the same . When customers owe isme they expect payment and if not received charge missed payment fees, but when isme owe customers they will avoid all complaints , never answer and leave you out of pocket. This company does not deserve your money, they are terrible!

I have ordered a bunkbed and after waiting 2 months (supposed to be delivered within 3 weeks!) they decided that they dont have the bunkbed anymore because of the supply problem. It got them 2 months to realise that!!! BUT most importantly they are still selling the bed on their website and it does not say out of stock or awaiting for stock!!! So how come they dont have the bed in stock to deliver to me??? Ridiculous , outrageous....so much inconvenience and frustrarting caused by this company to me and my family!! Kids have been asking when they are going to get the bunked!!! Massive liars! and no wonder they have a so low review!!!

“Worst service ever from a 'clueless' company - STAY AWAY!”

Terrible experience: They are clearly a company people don't recommend, yet I went ahead and ordered a chaise lounge which I liked the style of. Big mistake! I was given a delivery date when it will arrive. On the date, I did not get a call in the expected time of arrival. On calling them, the customer service rep was totally clueless and extremely inefficient. He said the delivery company has no such item in their roster and had no clue if and when the item will be delivered!!! They have charged me a late fee of £12 on a delayed payment, yet I doubt if I'll get any compensation for the delayed delivery, if and when that happens. A clueless customer who's still waiting for the item's delivery.

I ordered a pushchair from ISME for my son. It was well looked after but broke whilst he was only 5 months old. I complained to ISME and was passed on to an email to contact. I complained to the email and they insisted I needed to contact their supplier, I contacted their supplier who informed me It was nothing to do with them, but the company I ordered the product from, ISME. I got back in touch via email and explained. ISME asked if I would them to order a replacement for me (I assumed they would be ordering it from their supplier) I agreed but later noticed I'd been charged again for the pushchair. I questioned why I was being charged for a replacement, they told me I had agreed for them to order it. I was under the impression they were ordering it from their suppliers as a replacement. They have still charged me but now say the money charged will be reimbursed after 30 days... What a joke!!!!

“ripped me off good n proper”

I purchased a settee on buy now pay 12 months which i thought was good at the time.This was ordered at the beginning of August 2013, however there was a problem with stock and delivery so it wasn't actually delivered until 27th September. What did i receive at the beginning of August a statement saying the full amount was due and if the balance wasn't paid in full i would incur all the interest for the year that worked out at nearly £400.00 I thought hang on a minute the balance isn't due yet because it should be 12 months from September(end of) when i received the settee if anything should be November I called to point this out to them and i must say they weren't bothered or apologetic at all. They were quick to point out to me that buy now 12 months is from date of order not when you receive the goods!!!! THAT'S NOT 12 MONTHS INTEREST FREE THEN IS IT MORE LIKE 10 MONTHS.They wouldn't agree with what i was saying...GOBSMACKED AND SKINT
