Bought some jeans, washed them. Dye damaged several carpets. HoF asked for photos of damage, sent them. HoF then ask If they can have photos before the jeans damaged the carpets!!! Sorry no. Refused to examine damage, refused to pay for cleaning. Then quibbled about refunding the jeans!! Go straight to Small claims or Trading standards.
