Ordered and paid for a simple animal furniture protector for a sofa in March 2016. The online order tracking application didn't work. After a month, I sent a message to HSS from my order page requesting an update. I received a reply from the trader indicating that the item had been re-ordered and would be in their warehouse by 29th April. I'm still waiting and have no optimism that the order will be fulfilled. I have now requested either confirmation that the item has been despatched or a full refund.
The level of complaints against this trader indicate a failing business which is potentially fraudulent and is certainly contravening the Consumer Rights Act.
I will be taking this complaint to Trading Standards and would strongly advise consumers not to order from Home Shopping Selections.
