We bought a shoe storage unit in Heals - 10% off in the sale - so £350. It came flatpack requiring self-assembly. Now I'm not scared of self-assembly (time spent making Airfix kits as a boy has its uses), but this really is quite challenging. Instructions suggested it would take one person 30 minutes to assemble and fix to the wall. In fact it took two of us well over 2 hours. The unit now looks great and does the job we wanted - but I couldn't recommend it to someone who has never assembled flatpack furniture before...
