I ordered a dress for an event 2 weeks ago. I paid extra for next day delivery. My dress did not show up in time, Debenhams had no solution to my problem and could only offer a refund for the delivery, which 2 weeks later has still not been refunded. I have called the service 5 times now and each time have been promised a call back which has never happened. The dress arrived after the event that I needed it for and Debenham's solution was to tell me to take it to my nearest store for a refund. When I called to make a complaint there was never a manager available I was told that someone would call me back and they never did. On the final occasion I spoke to them I was told that it had already been logged as a complaint so talking to a manager was unnecessary!
