Ordered a high end laptop for my daughter for her birthday. Initial response was good with lots of options given. After nearly two weeks advised that the product was neither in stock or available and might come back in stock nearly two months later. As the web site said it was in stock at the date of ordering this both angered and frustrated at the lack of honesty involved. Needed to order x2 PC monitors for my Business - arrived 1st August -set them up 4th August , these are the type that allow x2 laptops on one screen. What a dire excuse for service. So let me tell how this company operates. After being a Debenhams customer for over 15 years and spending nearly £12,000 on our wedding alone we decided to order some appliances. This is for a new house we get the keys for soon. Essentially debenhams cs on the phone are helpful and polite and offer lots of offers of assistance and put things in place. Unfortunately it doesn't matter how wonderful the cs are the next step is a complete shambles. Ordered gas cooker early may, no communication to state when it would be delivered. Ordered tv cupboard unit, costing £300. Paid extra £5 for next day delivery. Next day comes and at 9.10am get an email to say item will not be being delivered due to unforeseen circumstances. I was not happy but they were very dismissive, even refusing to pass me to a manager to complain higher up the tree. Had nothing but problems with this online store. Ordered things in Novemeber, no updates or communication and order was not available until end of Jan after writing a majorly angry email. “Misleading Information on website”

Purchased a tablet, when I received the invoice it was not for the tablet I had ordered, queried this and after a couple more e-mails from me with no response I had to phone to cancel order. 10p per minute call lasting 8 minutes after being put on hold. “Avoid, very poor customer service”

I bought an android tablet from Debenhams plus, thinking they were part of Debenhams plc, so i was expecting reasonable customer service, but how wrong i was when the tablet charge jack failed at 6 months. Unfortunately, the site doesn't allow me to rate it as 'zero stars' because that's all they are worth. I bought a built in fan oven from Debenhams Plus' website. I fully researched it via both pages of their website, including the Tech Spec.
