“Total Disgrace”

Ordered laptop which arrived promptly. However, laptop was faulty and when seeking to return Debenhams Plus had the audacity to charge £20 to return item to them. Customer service completely disgusting. Only wish I could give them a minus 5 star rating. If you want a hassle free shopping experience stay well clear of this bunch of idiots. (read more)

“Worst Experience Ever”

I purchased a 32 in Tv online. Delivery was on time. Just a week before the warranty the Tv's sound went off. I called Debenhams plus & they agreed to collect it for a fee of £20. The repairs took more than 8weeks!!!! I made numerous calls to customer service but no luck with a prompt answer. I even asked to speak to a supervisor but was told they do not have a supervisor on Saturdays which i found really strange... “Customer service & warranty doesn't exist”

I bought a Tovhiba TV 32BV501B last year (still in warranty), but it is not working properly, and I only have it for 10 months. I tried to contact Toshiba for repair/service, but still after 2 months they are not doing anything. I contacted Debenhams then, because they say in their site that if the manufacturer is not helping, they will replace/refund the TV...that is NOT TRUE!! “Debenhams who? ”

Not sure what connection if any Debenhams Plus have with the high street store we know and trust. Ordered a laptop with 3yr extended manufacturers warranty. Received the laptop next day as per express delivery, however the laptop had already been opened and was clearly a return. Now one week later still yet to receive email with code to register the extended warranty after two calls to customer services, same standard, non response. I ordered a high chair for delivery within 7 days. Five weeks and a false delivery date or two later, I was told to expect delivery on the Tuesday / Wednesday, only to be informed late that afternoon that they'd misread the expected month of delivery and I'd to wait another month. “Unfriendly web site and shocking customer service”

Ordered a television online. There was no option to select the remove old electrical equipment required by law, or to set up the new set. Apparently you have to order this in a separate section which I never did find. We queried this by message service before the item arrived and were told that this service was not available with this order. Strange, for a legal requirement. I strongly object. Outraged with the customer service team not replying to my emails after been sent a 2gb laptop when I paid and ordered for a 4gb for a Christmas present! I will not be using debenhams plus again and advise everyone to do the same! I also paid £5 delivery for specific day delivery it was not delivered until the Thursday when I asked for Tuesday delivery - no postage refund given although the person I spoke to on the phone was helpful the online service team is not!! I ordered a toy for my 2 year old from debenhams on line that said was in stock!! After waiting 2 weeks I was told that the item is no longer avaliable. They refunded the money onto a gift card that I had thrown away due to having nothing left on it. When I called them I was told a new gift card with the refund on would be posted out. “Debenhams plus what? plus "talk to the hand" ”

Ordered a laptop on 21 Nov '12 and £619 left my account the same day. Now 30 November and still no laptop. The online tracking system is out of service. The head office "Sally" sent me a cut-and-paste email saying delivery could take 4 days - !?! My final email requesting a refund is currently being ignored. Meanwhile hubby bought a laptop from Savastore and it arrived next day with no delivery charge. Wish I'd checked this site before using Debenhams Plus - I never ever will use them... (read more)

“Delivery service not up to standard”

A delivery man came to my house yesterday attempting to a leave parcel . Usually they come to my front door and ring bell but on this occasion the delivery man never came to the front door he went to back door were there is no letter box for leaving notes to say they attempted to leave parcel. “Laptop with used music CD within”

I have just spoken to the rudest customer service representative I have ever come across. I discovered when using the CD drive for the first time when applying some software to the computed that there was a used music CD rammed inside the laptop. Called Debenhams Plus up who said even though they have sold me a used product which they cannot help me as the issue was discovered after the 30 day time period. We had the same issue with a TV. We did not unpack it until 13 days after delivery and it would not start. We were advised by the customer services that we had to report it within 5 days if an item is damaged. We now have a £500 TV which does not work and beyond economic repair.

The service from Debenhams Plus, which is actually sub contracted out to a third party, is appalling. Big Name Brand - Third Class Service.

my daughter ordered a black Hauck travel system 5 weeks ago, payment was taken from her bank account and we had confirmation that delivery would be on 29/10/12...she recieved an email on 27/10/12 stating that they did not have the black pram in stock and offered her an alternative colour which were not at all to her liking, my question to customer services was that they were happy to take her money 5weeks ago for her choice of pram but all of a sudden your out of stock and their response was... Totally agree They way they lie about what their terms and conditions say referring you to answers within frequently asked questions and saying they are terms and conditions.

Read all of them before buying and if you have any sense you will change your mind and buy from a more reputable company. Debenhams Plus is not

I ordered a television from this company, I was not happy with it and requested a refund which was accepted, I had to pay them £20 to arrange a collection, twice I was given dates and it was not collected. I pointed out to them that they were flaunting the Consumer Protection Selling at Distance Act and also complained to my credit card company. Ordered and paid for a Phil & Teds cup holder and have been sent a completely different item that does not even fit my pram. No response to my emails, only provide an expensive 0870 phone number to call and now I am expected to pay to send it back to them at my expense when They sent me an different thing!! I recently ordered an Travel system from Debenhams Plus. They claim to deliver on next day but they took 2 days to process the order and delivery is disappointing. I had make at least 5 calls to the delivery company and three call to Debenhems still not received the order. Only buy if you can wait for a week and have lots of time to follow up. (read more)
