I bought a Bush AE66SCA electric Cooker about 3 years ago, about a month ago the oven stopped working, the fan will come on the light and everything but it just wont warm up, I rang an engineer in my area, he come to have a look and told me it needs a part that should cost around £25 and I need to ring Argos to get it sort it as only Argos seem to be selling those Bush cookers and he wont be able to find the part, at this point all my hobs were working which meant I could cook for me and my son, then I rang Argos couple of days later explained the situation, got told my warranty run out on April and I would have to pay for cooker to be mend, they gave me a date for an engineer to come over and took £109 out my account for this, engineer come spent a good few hours, took the cooker apart, said he will get it sort it but he needs a cable to be fitted at the cooker which needs to be ordered it first then book to come again to fit it, at this point he had make my cooker unrepairable! the hobs weren't working anymore, whole cooker out of order, which upset me as I couldn't cook at all, been on microwave meals. Engineer said he will get back to office and give us a ring at when he can come back with a piece of cable he needed to sort it out, 1 week later I have heard nothing, so I rang up and spoke to a lady who said the cooker is unrepairable and they be putting my money back into my account, no apology nothing, I have lost trust in argos now, they come and broke my cooker even more I was fine using the hobs until I decided my next step, very disappointed and annoyed at how I was treated, very unfair on me and family!! I really don't feel like buying anything from argos ever again, they showed they don't care about their costumers.
