Delivery system seems to be too complicated even for their own employees. Ordered a Freezer with 7 day delivery, was told I would be contacted within five days to arrange a delivery time. Received no notice from Argos regarding delivery, and so contacted them myself after 6 days. Phoned four times over two days, each time, was told that they couldn't contact the delivery company, but that the product had been dispatched from their warehouse and should be "out for delivery." Finally in 4th call I was given a separate number to contact. I asked for a consignment number, was told that they didn't have one but I only needed my post code to track the item (clearly not true). This new number turned out to be for Yodel, who of course couldn't track the item without a consignment number.

So, in short, an item that's been paid for hasn't been delivered yet, and neither Argos nor the delivery company can tell me where it is or when it will arrive. I'm considering quitting my job, so that I can devote my entire life waiting for this delivery, which may come tomorrow, or the next day, or the day after that, but certainly not on the weekend.
