There is a massive training issue in how to deal with customers. They need to know how their ordering system works instead of the customer explaining their procedures. When something is ordered that is in stock and paid for. Customers do expect delivery on the agreed date. If the item suddenly "disappears" before it is dispatched it is not the customers fault. Once the money is paid there is surely a contract in place between the customer and Argos and the staff need to be aware of this instead of being very unhelpful and causing distress to the customer.
