Ordered a gaming chair for home delivery and was given a date.After waiting in all day the delivery was not made.I telephoned Argos to ask why and was told that they had not sent the paperwork to the courier.Despite having my mobile number it was obviously to much trouble to call me and tell me this so i would not waste a full day waiting.
I cancelled the order and was promised the refund to my card in 5 days.after a week still no refund.I contacted argos customer services to be told it will be another 7 working days.
why should a refund take this long? when I originally paid for the item, the monies were taken within 24 hours. It is the same system ,so a refund should take the same time.
I shall never buy anything from Argos again and I would recommend to anybody wanting any level of customer service to avoid them like the plague.
