We live outside the UK. We have been buying from Amazon (mostly books, but also a few CDs & DVDs) for 6 years & had their free delivery on orders over £25. We probably order 5 or 6 times a year & the average spend is over £150 per order. Suddenly the free delivery has been withdrawn & their response is that it was a "limited duration offer". Limited to at least the last 6 years, as far as we can discern. Any enquiries get the automated response, not a judged reaction to a legitemate question.
They have the best range for on-line bookshops but this is a let-down & I'll be shopping around a bit more, so Amazon are likely to lose a regular customer.
