I ordered a new Western Digital 500GB, well it was so called a new one.
On booting it up in my Mac, I found that it had been partition for a Windows PC.
Not only this but it still had information on it from the previous owner, now remember this was supposed to be a new drive. I did not read this information, and formatted the drive to take my Apple software. Which it did with no problems.
I go in touch with Amazon, by E-mail, and within minutes they phone back. The option was that I could return the drive to then and they would send me a new one, which I was suppose to have in the first place.
Or they would give me 15% off the price I payed then which was £49.98p. NO saying sorry for not delivering the correct goods I ordered, nor any offer to refund in full the £49.98p.
Then to top it all, no assurance that they would take any steeps to stop this from happening again to other customers.
All in all very bad customer service.
