“Amazon selling dangerous electrical goods, don't care”

Written on: 08/05/2012 by Busyinternetbuyer (1 review written)

Bought a bluetooth dongle, fulfilled by amazon. That means they store in their warehouse, collect the money from me, post it to me. I plug into the mains and put it on charge. One hour later, there are sparks, strong smell of burning electricals. Pretty dangerous item. Do amazon care? No. They just refer me to the third party seller who they charge to store and despatch the goods. This may be legal, but just to let you know - Amazon are happy to store and despatch goods that might set your house on fire. They don't give a damn.
