After starting a "free trial" I was swiftly charged £7.99 from my debit card that the salesman assured me was only used as identification. I was assured I would not be charged until the free trial period had ended, however I have obviously become the victim of a deceitful and dishonest company.
Not only I have been cheated out of money, but I have been provided with a lousy service that offers a pathetic selection of films to be streamed via the lovefilm website.
I would strongly dissuade anyone from using LOVEFILM; be it a free trial or any other payed service. That is unless you welcome being lied to, stolen from and disappointed.
