Last Christmas I ordered my son a nitro RC car from Nitrotek. But lo and behold come Christmas, it wouldn't start. We phoned their customer service helpline and requested a refund, but we were quickly shunned away from that resolution and told to send the car back, we did. Three weeks later we receive the car back having been told it was simply an issue with the tuning screw, we attempted to start it again. No surprises there, it wouldn't start again! Now for the second time we rang back, again told it was down to our error. So I requested the aid of a family member who has owned two or three RC cars (both of considerably better quality), and as I expected I was advised to send it back on the grounds 'there's no way you're getting that thing started'. We've since had to file to the small claims court in order to try and get our money back, these guys are simply fraudulent there's no getting away from it.
My son is around £150 down as a result of this, he's 13. And they still have the car, and refuse to co-operate.
I won't say avoid them, I think you can probably make your own decision?
