Why be in business if you're not going to do business?
It should have been a simple transaction. 1) Look for Tasca 1/35 M4A3E8 Sherman online; 2) "find" it at Internet Hobbies; 3) order it from Internet Hobbies.
And that's when things went so wrong. Received the (apparently standard) "just because you paid for it doesn't mean we have it" e-mail. Two weeks later, sent a follow-up inquiring as to status. A week later, heard that I'd hear within two weeks what the status was. Heard nothing. Sent another follow-up asking -- if it wouldn't be too much trouble, what with being a paying customer and all -- they wouldn't mind bestirring themselves to tell me whether or not I'd ever receive the kit. Several days later received a reply that said, essentially, "Ummmm, we're not sure." Demanded a refund and -- rather surprisingly -- received it in fairly short order.
Don't let the fact that Google will inevitably direct you to Internet Hobbies fool you into ordering from Internet Hobbies -- whether they say they have it or not, chances are that they don't.
