Such a great company! DLCO. The services offered are unbeatable. High-tech facilities and machinery with a very systematized delivery. "As a new sewer, I stuck to patterns produced by the major pattern companies which are widely available at fabric stores and they offer almost endless options, but I couldn't help but wonder what else is out there. "I have been a busy girl both personally and professionally. I haven't had as much time for my passion- sewing, I have managed to sew but making patterns and grading them takes a lot of time. "I have a positive experience with DLCO and will absolutely work with them again. I loved the materials and prints options they provided me with - it was so much faster and easier than if i had gone out in the field myself trying to on my own. "We did a competitive selection process and interviewed several folks before agreeing to work with her. Her company does a great job on the pattern & samples front and the costs are reasonable. We also tried them out for some design work for a product refresh and were pleased with the results. One thing we really like is that she does pretty much everything digitally. One trait I am looking for people to work with after years in this industry is honesty. And I've found that with Kirsten the owner of DLCO. Transparency is evident and it makes me feel really secure. I have been to so many other companies and all I can say it's totally different. The staff are all very accomodating, speak English, no excuses and are on top of everything. So far I'm very satisfied working with DLCO. As an independent designer, for the past 2 years I've been through 3 production houses that didn't work out for me. Until I met this lady, what's great about she is that she understands designers, our needs for perfection and timing. So far her patterns and sample making are two thumbs up. I've witnessed first hand the daily operations at dlco, and would like to share what I saw. - customer was a little early for meeting with crazy owner Kirstin she was pretty mad and showed up half a hour late ( on purpose ) after clients. This Company is the worst! So unprofessional, the owner [name removed] is rude and really crazy. So unprofessional,and maybe a straight up crazy person! I wouldn't dare do business with her again. The owner Kirsten is absolutely psychotic and so incredibly rude. Not to mention, she and her staff have no idea what they are doing. We lost a fortune attempting to work with them and in the end had nothing to show for it except for a bunch of unusable patterns and samples that were ridiculously off. DLCO patterns and grading has a very approachable and friendly staff. They make good recommendations as to how the garment should look, and give a fair price for the quality of the work that they produce. They are also very accommodating. There have been a few times when garments still needed a bit of tweaking and they took care of it at no extra cost until I was pleased with the outcome. (read more)
